Using the text I was provided with for the edge of the CD it was my next step to actually put it in place.
In order to achieve this, I found it easier to make the whole CD as a background and placing the text on top after which it had to be tilted horizontally and placed around the CD.
After the text has been tilted, it had to be placed in place and manipulated in order to make it round and on the edge of the CD.
I decided to split the text in two parts due to it being impossible to make a circle with the text all in one go. So adding the text from the top and bottom.
During the production of the advert it was required for me to remove the background of the original image completely. This involved making a transparent background to work with and manually erasing the original background in order to get the image on its own.
Once the original background has been completely erased/removed. A new file was open with a completely black background and I placed the image into the new file.
After all of the basics have been out of the way, it was time to add the information required for the advert e.g. title, CD cover image, release date and so on.
Additionally I thought the main image looked to bright in comparison to the background so I decided to make the image darker by adjust the levels of brightness of the image itself.

CD Cover First Draft
After the production of our music video, it was time to produce the ancillary text in order to promote the band and the lead singer. It was decided to put the emphasis mainly on the lead singer.
The following is a first draft of the CD cover, further improvements will have to be made.

Title Fonts
Flash the Readies
Flash the Readies

Flash the Readies
Flash
the Readies
This is the range of fonts that I can use to put on the digipack.
Although still not clear which one will be used, I believe that the font needs to be more bold. However getting a wide range of different type of fonts will allow me to see which one will suit the most.
(Post Production) Ancillary Text Layouts
After analyzing a range of digipacks. I have decided to create a digipack with the shot of the whole band, with the lead singer at the front. This will emphasize his important role in the band in addition to the bass player and the drummer being in the background but still in the shot in order not to forget that they also play a big role in the band. Furthermore the image for 'Don't Care' page will be a picture of the t-shirt the lead singer was wearing. Additionally it might also be considered as the title of the album.
Top two boxes represent the front and the back of the digipack and the bottom two boxes represent the inside of the digipack. These designs have been created using Microsoft Word, manipulating a range of shapes and words in order to create the images I require.

Photographs taken for the ancillary text
These are the images I was planning to use for my ancillary text. The idea was to promote the band however, putting more emphasis on the lead singer seeing as he is the main selling point of the band in addition to being the biggest part of the music video and allow the target audience to recognize the media products after watching the music video.
